Instructions
for adding a new wireless device (lap top, iphone, ipod touch, online game device, etc.) to a Linksys
wireless G router.
If you purchased a new router~ call 509 982-2181 or 509 988-0260 to get help programming it. Do NOT insert the disk.
If
your internet is not working~ Please shut down your
computer if you have not done so and let it sit for 30
seconds or so then restart and check.
If
your internet is working but you cannot send email ~
Go into your outlook express and click TOOLS then ACCOUNTS
then under MAIL click your ACCOUNT then click PROPERTIES
then click SERVERS tab then check the box that says My
outgoing server requires authentication. Click APPLY and
OK. If you are dial-up please make sure your files
are not too large. That will cause your email to get
stuck and not come in or go out. You can go to
webmail (on the home page) and check your mail and delete
and purge the file so your email will work again.
Accima email accounts need to go to www.accima.com
to use webmail.
If
your High Speed Wireless is not working~ Shut
down your computer, unplug the radio and router if you
have one. Wait 30 seconds or so and then plug back
in and start computer. Make sure your wires in the
back are in tight. Be sure to unplug the black power cord from behind the actual unit not the outlet on the wall or surge protector.
If this does
not work please email or call us right away and we will
check into it and if you are experiencing any
problems (internet extremely slow or intermittent) please let us know so we can look into it for
you.
